Bowed feet and blessings
Say much between the lines
Always be quiet
Always be docile
(And find happiness in their appraisal of your personhood

There to elevate him and your new family
Everything you were reduced to nothing.)

Always bend backwards
(But we decide what prosperity is for you,
Your existence is to enhance us)

(But don’t overshine us,
Don’t make us uncomfortable
Or you’ll invite trouble
But don’t let yourself go
In ways we don’t like
Despite how pretty or comfortable they make you feel
For a wife can become an ex
In the blink of an eye
If she stops being attractive
To every whim of her masters
But don’t spend time on yourself either.)

Much they won’t like to hear
Of beauty and how it’s self-defined
The only day myself
And if we feel upto it my partner and I
Yes, there are rules we follow in a society
But we distrub those who would strip us of our humanity
With our respect and love
Come out anger at being let down,
Don’t forget wars were fought over dignity denied
Don’t forget the heavens themselves
Won’t stand idly by
As your walk over us,
Our anger is ferocious
Our patience is tenacious
Our history is red
But it’s the colour of love and wrath
Be very careful of whom you try to quiten
For she is a force of nature
Whose curses you don’t wanna awaken

Carry yourself like the queen you’re,
Self-respect your crown
Love and kindness yours to bestow
Justice too, for you shall move the planes themselves
