Water, Water, Everywhere

Burning heat, parched throats,
Dried pumps, people on the roads,
People laboring under the sun,
The pedestrians on the road,
The owner of the Mercedes,
The dog under its suddenly too thick coat,
The tree with its roots getting nothing,
All connected by the webs of life,
All victims of climate change,
So let’s come together,
Make it easier to survive,
Help how much ever we can,
And encourage others to ask well,
While remembering that one can’t water a village
Without first watering themselves.
