Fierce Warriors, I have read of many,
Fierce Warriors, I have met a few,
And amongst them, I see you,
Standing tall, as the world pushes against you,
Bending, breaking even,
Yet always walking through,
Whether it be flames they throw at you,
Or it be light they try to blind you with,
In darkness to bind you,
You stand tall, like a god of old,
The ones who stories we celebrate with lamps and joys,
You stand tall, taller than people even let gods go,
And so when the stars shine, with the sun is bright,
I think of the fierce warriors I have known,
And I think of you,
As the diays burn into the night.
