I often wonder if I am a cat person
But it’s funny that I don’t like cat people
How can you care for one animal, rescue it, feed it, love it
But
Not others
And turn around and sacrifice their life
To feed your cat?
Its nature’s way, it’s a tale of perspective
Cats have to be fed
But I can’t understand it!
Yet, we must feed both the cats and the chickens
So perhaps the best is to learn to live with this
Natural calamity that is an ecosystem.
Until we can find a cruelty free alternative!
Ensure that they get the best life possible
That they’re loved and happy
Both the predator and the prey.
Even if one’s granted a longer life by biology?
(Can we make lab meat viable already please?
Or find some solution to this natural tragedy)
